
Dr Nancy Bagula
Dr Nancy Bagula is a South African medical doctor and clinical researcher based at the University of Cape Town, with a strong commitment to expanding access to high-quality, patient-centred care through the use of telehealth. she holds a MBChB from UCT, a Diploma in HIV Management (summa cum laude), and earned a cum laude distinction in Part 1A of the Fellowship of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (CMSA). she is currently completing a Master of Public Health with a focus on health systems, aiming to contribute to more equitable and efficient healthcare delivery models in South Africa and beyond.
her clinical expertise spans women’s health, sexual and reproductive health, HIV and TB care, infectious diseases, and the prevention and management of lifestyle-related diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity. Dr Bagula is also deeply engaged in promoting mental health awareness, understanding its critical importance in shaping long-term health outcomes and quality of life.
